Camalia was born, like so many things in my life out of the inspiration I’ve had from my grandmothers (Carmen & Amalia) and it’s dedicated to their memory. Elevated simplicity and a love for textiles are 2 essential ingredients of this project of love.
Textiles printed by hand using wood blocks, natural pigments, sunshine and a crazy amount of love and hard work… guided by my Bagru family in Rajasthan, India, in their home and printing shop and turned into a small collection of clothes for you to enjoy for ever, because this fabrics will only get softer and more beautiful with time…
